Once there, rip open your packet, wait for the countdown, then toss and celebrate! Additional color packets will be available for sale at the registration tent if you want to do it again! Those who wish to take the 2.6K shortcut should look for signs and volunteers at Ravalli & Fowler to ensure you continue toward the remaining color stations.įinish Line & Color Celebration: As you cross the finish line, make sure you receive your color. The Race Route and Short Cut: All racers will start together. The more patient you are, the more fun you’ll have and the better chance for color! Waves will be released by countdown from the emcee. Once at the race, please line up according to the following waves: If you are traveling from out of town, you may pick up packets from 7:30am-8:30am near the starting line on race day! PACKET PICK UP: Packet Pick Up will be held October 3rd, the THURSDAY before the race at Gallatin Valley Mall from 10am until 8pm for Gallatin Valley residents. Held on the Autumnal equinox during the height of fall color, the race features the beautiful scenery of Colorado as you run downhill on a point-to-point course along the Cache La Poudre River. ![]()
